    Greetings,

Are Train the Trainer sessions being offered virtually? If so, where can I find a schedule for upcoming trainings? If not, are there any future plans to provide this training virtually?

    Thank you for the information!

    Hi Allison,

In regards to the Train the Trainer (TTT) for Pre-k, my trainer informed me that once you become a TTT then that is your new date for reliability. I just want to make sure I understand that correctly. For example, if I became CLASS Pre-K reliable in July but then became a CLASS Pre-K TTT in October, does that mean I would not have to take the CLASS Pre-K test again until the following October (therefore bypassing the CLASS pre-k in July)? Hope this makes sense, i just want to make sure I am understanding correctly and I do not let time overlap.
    Thank you,

    Genesia

    Hi @Genesia Gonzales,

Yes, this is exactly correct and you explained it perfectly! Once you attend TTT, your Observer recertification date will re-align with your Trainer certification so you only need to test once a year to renew them both. When you come up for your first trainer recertification, you will purchase that from our website and activate your product key as normal. You will take your observer portion of your test, and for our Pre-K and K-3 trainers, there is a short additional portion called the Knowledge test that you will take as well. If you have any more questions about this, please let us know. Have a great rest of your day!

    Best,
    Allison

After you take the Knowledge part of the test what are the next steps if you score below the 80 percent?

    Hi there,

If you do not pass the first attempt at the knowledge test, you do get 2 more attempts. In order to be sent this, you will need to email contact@teachstone.com and they will be able to help you. Thank you so much, have a great day!

    Best,
