The very best SEL initiatives transform systems in ways that measurably improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes. The concept of system transformation can be daunting. How do we get from the system as it is to the system as we want it to be?

This webinar features four leaders in the field of SEL who will discuss complementary approaches to systems change in support of SEL. David Adams, Director of Social and Emotional Learning at the Urban Assembly, will frame the conversation and facilitate discussion.

    * Dr. Mark Greenberg, founder of the CREATE for Education will discuss the impact of teacher wellness,
and interventions to support teacher wellness, on instruction, and student outcomes.
    * Dr. Bridget Hamre, CEO of Teachstone, will describe teaching practices that are key drivers of student academic, social, and emotional learning, and interventions to support those practices.
    * Dr. Clark McKown, President of xSEL Labs, will discuss the role of SEL assessment data in supporting consistent and high-quality SEL practices.

Each of these approaches provides a point of entry into systems change work that can benefit teaching,
learning, and student outcomes. Following brief presentations by the panelists, Dr. Adams will facilitate a panel discussion to further explore how each of these approaches can be enlisted to support teaching,
    learning, and student wellness.

Will this webinar be recorded and rebroadcast if we cannot attend? I will be tutoring a student at that time.

Will a link for the recording be made available? I was logged in 20 minutes prior and when it finally responded to me, it said "full." I then joined another webinar that I had registered for at the same time on a different topic. Disappointed not to get into this one. Hoping a recording will be made available.  THANKS!

    Hi Linda,

The same happened to me. I could not join because the meeting had reached a maximum of 1000 participants. I will wait until they post the recording video. :)

    Hi Liz,

Will the webinar be sent out? I think you all reached capacity, and it locked me and a colleague out.

    Thanks,
    Melissa
