Flexibility and student focus.... What does the teacher do to incorporate the children's ideas into activities?
- When she went to look through the curtains for the puppet show and the child wasn't ready, she played just as excited as the child and very anxious to see what the child was doing. When they started to talk about the cat and what the cat liked to do, she heled the kids figure out what the kids needed to bring for the cat to play with.
Student expression..... How does the teacher encourage the children to share their ideas and perspective?
- She asked open-ended questions that got the students thinking.
Restriction of movement.... What evidence is there that the teacher let's the children move around?
- The children was freely moving within the classroom and playing without her freaking out or making them go back to original centers.
