We're gearing up to release the full schedule for the upcoming InterAct CLASS Summit in a matter of days, but I thought it might be fun to share a sneak peek into the session tracks we've identified! This year, we were truly overwhelmed and humbled by the number of high-quality proposals that came to Teachstone, and we let the topics of our accepted proposal submissions drive our session tracks for this year's summit.

Take a look at the tracks below and let us know which track are you most interested in -- and why? Even if you're not coming to InterAct, your interests and feedback will help us shape future community resources and content!

    1) Culture of CLASS and Leadership
This track focuses on the ways CLASS can go beyond the literal classroom, positively impacting culture across all levels of educational systems-starting with leadership and ultimately impacting children.

    2) Data, Research, and Innovation
This track features the most recent learnings in the world of CLASS, and how the latest data is impacting the field and shaping the future.

    3) Teacher Growth and Improvement
This track will feature stories and tips related to coaching and professional development, and using CLASS how it was intended to be used-to support and develop world-CLASS teachers.

    4) CLASS Across Diverse Settings
This track shines a light on the wide variety of ways CLASS is having an impact-from serving dual-language learners to impacting international programs to addressing equity gaps.

I'm with you, Paula! How to decide indeed! I am also interested in 1 and 2. Although I also am interested in teaching/coaching I think Leadership is where is starts. But then my inner nerd whispers, "data, data, data..."
And welcome all to NOLA !

#1 & #3 speak most to me. A a consultant I work closely with leadership and administration. Having research based information to share with them on how best to implement CLASS in every area sounds great. I also coach, so having a solid foundational understanding of CLASS it's purpose and how to use it as intended would be perfect.

I agree!  It sounds like our roles are the same.  #1 really intrigues me because some of our administrators are thinking of using CLASS all the way to elementary school!  But, I also coach and would find #3 to be useful.

This will be my first INTERACT summit, and to say I am excited is an understatement! I think I am most interested in Track 1 and 3 (with emphasis on 1). As I progress in my role as a coach, I am becoming more aware of my actions and how I play a part in promoting the CLASS culture. I believe if teachers see CLASS in my interactions, it will motivate them to create quality interactions in their classrooms. Working on myself and my leadership skills is paramount to me. Any way that I can improve my practice I'm all ears!

As a coach, I am most interested in numbers 2 and 3.  I can always use coaching tips to be better for the teachers I work with. The data and research is important to present to teachers to show why we are concentrating on the specific teaching practices that we coach.

Excited to be attending my first Interact and even more excited to collaborate with colleagues.  I am mostly interested in #2 and #3.  I am all about data driving professional development right now (and finding appropriate DAP trainings as well) and of course anything to help my teachers improve their interactions with their children on a daily basis.  Little steps at a time!
