  • 1.  Re-Opening Your Center Standards

    There are a lot of questions for how, when, and even why to reopen child care and Head Start Programs.  I really wonder about the social distancing guidelines that seem impossible for very young children and really worry about lack of protective clothing and gear for the staff.  Please don't open until you and the children are safe. 
    Here are some guidelines from the National Head Start Association that might help all centers:

    Yes its not safe for kids and us. Please do not reopen at least two months.

    It is mind scrambling the amount of resources that are available right now.  So much to keep track and and digest.  My hope is that what I have attached is helpful to someone, if not let me know and I will look again to see what would be more helpful.  My duties have increased as of late, but I am trying to get back to this venue more often.  The concerns of the world are on everyone's mind.  My hope for everyone is that you stay safe and focused on the positive as much as you are able to.
