I am wondering where I can find information on when a CLASS observation may begin at the beginning of the school year. Do I recall a 30-day rule? I searched in the CLASS Pre-K Manual but couldn't find the guidance. Thank you.

I happen to have a copy of the CLASS System Implementation Guide from 2014 that does recommend 30 days.  ​However, I wonder what the recommendation is for using the tool for Professional Development vs high stakes rating.

"How long should a teacher be in a classroom before an observation may be
conducted?
As noted above, a teacher who has been with the students for fewer than 30 days should
not be observed, as it is important for the teacher and students to settle in, get to know one
another, and establish new routines."
