Hi @Belen Hernandez, can you tell me more about your question? Do you mean bilingual programs, where teachers interact with the children equally in two languages? Or are you referring to supporting children who come to you that are dual language learners (as in they speak a language at home that is different from the one spoken the majority of the time in the classroom)?

First of all thank you for responding, this is what I meant "supporting children who come to you that are dual language learners (as in they speak a language at home that is different from the one spoken the majority of the time in the classroom)?"

Hi @Belen Hernandez,
 I work with toddlers. For dual language in my classroom One thing I do is label items in my classroom with the child's home language. Another thing I do make books for them with common pictures labeling them in our language and in theirs. I will also ask parents to provide me with words and meanings their child uses at home.
