So is ours. I have been looking at what preschool and school age kids can do. I also told the parents to continue reading, the kids can recite poems we learned, songs that we have sung. Our district is letting the families check out Chrome books. I told the parents to Google tablet activities and mobile learning. I told them to have the children play board games, and to use cheap write and wipe boards. They need to look around the home, much like a Home Visit back in the day. Technology has consumed so much of kids lives, that it's time to look back at what worked for kids before everyone was consumed by it.
