Strategies for Effective Interactions Among Adults Supporting Students with Learning Differences

When:  Dec 9, 2020 from 14:00 to 15:00 (ET)

A distinguishing feature of special education learning environments is the regular presence of multiple adults working together in the service of students with learning differences. Prior to the pandemic, these adults primarily included special educators, paraeducators, and specialized support staff. However, transitions to hybrid and remote learning environments have further elevated the role of caregivers in supporting their learner's day-to-day education. What do we know about effective adult interactions in special education classrooms that can support us to navigate these novel learning environments?

In this webinar, participants will learn about the benefits of, challenges to, and strategies for effective interactions among the adults involved in the education of students with learning differences towards the end of promoting high-quality interactions for learning and the prevention of problem student behavior.
