πŸŽ’ Educators make an average of 1,500 instructional decisions a day! That's a lot of jugglingβ€”planning lessons, adjusting on the fly, managing feelings, and more, often all at once.

But there's more to it. Whether you're demonstrating handwashing in early childhood settings or teaching phonics in elementary school, these step-by-step procedures are backed by evidence and are crucial for development and health.

Sometimes, these procedures might feel at odds with effective interactions, especially within the Instructional Support domain. But they don’t have to be! By helping children understand the hows and whys through meaningful interactions, even structured tasks can become more engaging and relevant.

Ready to dive into how you can layer Instructional Support into daily procedures? Check out our latest blog post for principles and examples! βœ¨πŸ“š

The intentionality and planning that is focused on with this post is so helpful. What we focus on, we get more of. Thank you for this focus and showing how it is doable throughout the day. Teachers really do a lot and make so many decisions on a regular basis, it is beneficial to see how this is integrated, thank you for the examples that you gave.
