I just completed my second attempt at the CLASS Reliability test and I got a passing score on all domains except Concept Development. Is there anyway I can review the test I took with someone from Teachstone explain to me why my answers for that observation under that domain are considered wrong.  I reached out to Support and I have not heard back from them.

Hi there, we do have a Reliability Support team to help with this!  Wait to start your 3rd attempt until you can talk through your scoring patterns with someone on the team. Since your anonymous here, I can't see you in our support queue, but they should be able to get your scheduled for a call. In the meantime, I also recommend the videos and resources on the page!  https://teachstone.com/reliability-support/

I have taken it once and failed only the concept development part.  I wish we were allowed to compare our response to Teachstone answer.

How can I get info on how to do this test or see videos on what I need to know about CLASS? I am getting observed this school year. I am a 4k teacher thru South Carolina Firststeps 4k and we were just told this and that we had been chosen as one of the 4k classrooms that was randomly picked. This is new to this program so we only know what they have shared with us in training which is very little. I own a child care center and my public 4k in my private center and we are funded and accountable to SC Firststeps. I have been in the program for 12 years now and being told this and we don’t know when they will be coming to our classroom on top of no information really on what CLASS is and that really makes me feel kinda nervous. I love my job and I have always followed all things they expect us to do and more. I really want to do my best and for my Center and my students as well as Firststeps! Help please!!!

    Hello @Lisa Bloom

To help you prepare for your CLASS observation, here are some steps and resources:

    1. Learn about CLASS

    2. Watch example videos –

    3. Reflect on your classroom interactions – Observers look for natural, high-quality interactions. Simple practices like responding to children's interests, supporting social and emotional development, and encouraging language and thinking skills can make a difference.

    4. Contact Teachstone Support – If you want guidance on resources specific to your classroom level or how to prepare, our team can help:

    All the best!
