  • 1.  How to start ?

    So I just bout this last week and have no idea how to start at all and feel very overwhelmed before I've even started ? 

    I got the go at your own pace but don't know where to start at all ? I feel like there no direction?

    I just started this program as well, when you go to log in you will come to a page that has "My Professional Development My Professional Development
    Learning Hub Status CEU CDA with CLASS Course 1: Understanding Early Childhood Development Available" in a box  click on learning hub. From there go down to dash board and click what class you are taking from there click modules and you should find what you need. If you need more, i can always try.

    So I figured that out but then when I click on it it starts the overview then won't do anything else .

    Here are some instructions that were shared earlier this week to get you started:

    We are so glad you're here and would love to learn a bit about you! Please introduce yourselves by replying to this discussion post and tell us a little bit about yourself and your professional goals!. Be sure to read below to find out more about the CLC and some FAQs about your course!  


    • How do I find my course? You can find your course by logging in at teachstone.com (choose LOGIN at the top right). You will see, at the top of your Dashboard, a box titled "My Professional Development." Click on "Learning Hub" and there you will see your CDA with CLASS course in our Canvas Learning Management System!

    • What is the CLASS Learning Community (CLC)? This space is completely separate from your CDA course and is a wonderful place to ask questions, share how your course is going, and offer advice to others! The CLC is totally an optional space to participate in and you are not required to respond to discussions in the CLC.
    • Where should I ask questions in the CLC? If you have questions about your course or if you'd like to connect with other CDA learners or your facilitator, a great place to do that is in the CDA with CLASS Forum group right here in the community!
    • Where are the discussions I need to respond to? The discussions that you need to respond to as part of your CDA with CLASS course can be found in each weekly Module of your course.
    • What if I have questions about my course? In your course, be sure to check out all of the great information in the "Home" link! Carefully read your course syllabus, and be sure to check out the Pacing Guide (suggested due dates to follow)!
    • What if I can't find my CDA with CLASS course? Don't worry. Just send an email to cdasupport@teachstone.com Our support team will help problem solve your situation, and provide you communication and updates on your enrollment status!
