For a fact, I know how important it is to connect with a multilingual learner. I worked with Asian kids, so it was tough but we still had to get the best way to teach them properly.
I really enjoyed listening to the topic the power connecting with Multilingual learners. I have worked with children from differnt countries and Engilsh was not their language. As a educator who only spoke English. The method me and my co-teachers develop was respect for others with regard for individual needs and differences . We also respect children in our group who come from diiferent cultures. by. celebrating different holidays which each parent was welcome to participate. As a educator, I have a very clear understand of of the responsibilities with in my classroom by helping young children who are nonverbal feel welcome and have empathy and understanding for others. I also implement procedures that will help each child make a smooth transition and offer parents an environment where they will be confident that thier child is happy ,content.
