This article reminds me of a conversation I had with one of our Deans about a year ago. Students who receive love from home, come to school ready to learn. Students lacking, come to school to be loved. Certain behaviors displayed by the child will determine what they need when they enter the building.

I totally agree with you Ayesha! You said it perfectly about how learning is a lifelong process and there are always ways to learn from our experiences and from keeping an open mind to different perspectives. Thank you so much for your reply!

Thank you so much for posting that article, it had some valid points with relationship building. The parts that resonated the most with me were perceptions, balance and support. That emphasis just drives the point home for me that we are all learning. I like how conscious information makes being human ok. Mistakes are a part of what we all do, but when we look at them as things we can learn from the atmosphere changes.
