My best observation story is about a little girl who just wanted to socialize with me while I was in the classroom. I explained to her that I had to watch her teachers to make sure they were doing a good job and we could talk when I was finished. She then went to a center and played with her peers. As soon as I put my book down she crawled in my lap and got all snuggled up and said in the sweetest voice "you have hair everywhere". Then she raised up and looked me in the eyes and said, "I think it's a mustache".
