Thank you everyone for the supportive comments. I went into this review with the mindset that I am not defined by numbers or even single moments in a day. What we do is so much bigger than that. I still believe that! My "fight" isn't for myself. It's for the others that they are harming.
Being a CLASS rater needs to be taken seriously and most raters do that. For many teachers that number on a page means everything. It defines who they are and could even determine if they stay in this profession. It can also mean the difference between "passing" and "failing". No one should end up on a PD because a rater didn't know what they were doing or just choses to play the averages. Raters like the ones our site had are not acceptable and need to be held accountable or even replaced.
My "fight" for answers continues!
