Hey there! I support the work of the Strategy team at Teachstone, where you'll find me buried in an academic article, crafting a blog post, or writing copy for some of our online learning. Before and alongside this, I've been a data collector for research and evaluation, conducting direct child assessments in Virginia and CLASS observations in early childhood classrooms in New York City. I also worked as a Head Start teacher in Kansas City as a Teach For America corps member. I love analyzing data (yes, really) and using it to promote excellence and equity for our youngest learners!
If you see me out and about in Charlottesville, it's probably at a pub trivia night, playing at a park with one of the toddlers I babysit, or eating Thai food. (Or Indian. Or tapas. Or really anything with good vegetarian options - Charlottesville's food scene is LEGIT.) I'm also working on conquering my fear of heights by taking advantage of the beautiful mountains of central Virginia.
