I have been working in the field of Education for 12 years. I taught preK for 2 years, kindergarten for 6 years, and first grade for 1 year. I was introduced to CLASS as a PreK teacher and found the tool to be invaluable in improving my practice. I am currently working at a public charter school in Washington D.C. By using CLASS and research-based strategies, I am helping kindergarten through third grade teachers to improve their classroom interactions. I have seen the quality of these interactions increase and am hopeful that it will continue. I am always seeking opportunities to grow professionally and personally.
When I am not mentoring and coaching teachers, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to read, listen to music, and journal.
