Where to start? I've been a part of the early childhood community since 1976, and have had a passion for supporting teachers since my first job as an after school teacher at a private for profit center. I've taught kindergarten and was originally certified as a Nursery-3rd grade teacher. Yes, that was a thing. I've been a director, area director for private for profit and non profit centers, and designed a building and program for a hospital based center that was 150000 square feet, had 75 staff members, 350 kids and was open 18 hours a day 364 days a year. I've worked with Head Start, Early Head Start, Virginia's QRIS, trained on ERS, CFFSEL, managed a non profit's Child Care Quality Initiative, and finally landed at Teachstone. I love music, horses and dogs and spending time with my family.
