    My School would like to know is there a recommended that to conduct the first CLASS observaton?

    I am more than happy to see if I can help you! To clarify, are you asking about when your first CLASS Observation should be conducted? And are you the Observer or would you be the teacher who is being observed? If you are a new observer, you can conduct your first observation as soon as you successfully complete your certification.     Hi @Emma Allen, We recommend that formal observations should be conducted annually at the same time of year. This helps ensure that scores can be compared from one year to the next. There are some indications that CLASS scores are slightly lower at the very beginning of the year, around the winter holidays, and at the very end of the year.  For these reasons, it is preferable to avoid these times if your objective is to obtain scores that are most typical for the classroom. Many programs that do a fall observation wait 2 weeks before beginning observations. 
    However, informal, formative observations can be done more frequently, beginning at any time, so that teachers receive continual feedback on their interactions.
