Hi Everyone,

I am excited to share that Teachstone will be piloting a new approach to Virtual CLASS Observation Training on Monday June 29th-Wednesday July 1st. During this hybrid training, learners will spend half the time engaged in independent online learning and half the time meeting with a Teachstone CLASS Specialist to engage in activities to deepen their understanding of the material covered in the online learning and receive feedback on their developing notetaking and coding skills. We're excited that this new approach will offer additional flexibility to learners and help them avoid zoom fatigue. Here's how the schedule will work:

• June 29: First set of required online learning (3.5 hrs)
• June 30 AM: 1st virtual facilitated session (4 hrs)
• June 30 PM: second set of required online learning (2 hrs)
• July 1 AM: 2nd virtual facilitated session (4.5 hrs)
• July 1 PM: Online required post-work (1 hr)

Pilot participants will be asked to fill out a post-survey to help us learn as much as we can about how to refine the Hybrid training. Like all Pre-K Observation training participants, they'll get access to the reliability test after successfully completing all of the online and face-to-face learning and have the opportunity to become Certified Pre-K Observers.
