Not passing the first time is not a good feeling, I have been there too! I completely agree with what Brittany said about pacing your testing and reviewing the master codes for examples of what you may see.
I do is NOT use the foldable, I only use the CLASS tool (the book). Go with what you saw and heard, take your time reading the descriptor pages and base your score on how they map onto what you saw/heard. In addition, the feedback that you get after you complete the first round can be really helpful. Take a look at the areas where you seemed to be off. Use some of the resources such as the video library to see, hear, and red about those areas to support you in refining you knowledge and observation skills.
The lovely thing about the Teachstone process for achieving reliability is that you have more than one opportunity to get there.
I pulled the info from one of the Teachstone pages:
I didn't pass my first attempt at the Reliability Test. What should I do now?
You have three attempts to achieve CLASS reliability. If you do not succeed on your first attempt, we strongly recommend that you review the feedback on your score report to better understand your coding tendencies.
We also recommend that you take advantage of the resources and supports on your account's testing instructions page to strengthen your CLASS knowledge and coding skills before taking your second testing attempt. You may also contact your trainer or email reliabilitysupport@teachstone.com for additional guidance and support.

I have 2 more opportunities to pass the K CLASS Test.
I thought I had done great the 1st time; however, I am in a bad predicament now with only 2 more chances of making a passing score.
After reviewing the CLASS text and the foldable, along with the notes I took in the CLASS training, I am really not sure what more I can do to better prepare for the next tests.
What were some things that YOU may have done that helped you pass the tests to be awarded a certificate?
