I'm a pre-k coach and one of my teachers got two new children in her class one week before the end of an assessment period. How does she indicate that she doesn't have observations for them and still finish her report at 100% complete?

Hi @Jennifer Kagiwada, can you tell us more about what you mean? The CLASS data is tied to a classroom, not to any individual child. A CLASS score is a reflection of the average classroom experience. Are you thinking more about child assessment data?

It depends on your assessment type in my opinion/experience. If you are using an assessment that is focused on individual development such as ASQ or SE, then you can have your teachers just do the individual assessment with each child and add a note or a flag to show what state the children were at the assessment; new, shy, not comfortable, still adjusting....etc. If you are using assessment that is based on group evaluation such as CLASS, then you won't have much problem except for noting your two new student.

Just a clarifying note that the ASQ and ASQ-SE are screening tools, not developmental assessments. Their purpose is to identify increased risk and a need for developmental assessment to determine if there is a delay/difference or not. They are not meant to track children's development.
