Hello CLASS Learning Community Members!
Today I am sharing our new acronym to remember each step in the coding process when observing - NICE
The first step, N in NICE stands for
Notetaking during each observational cycle.
Once you finish taking notes, I, C and E stand for:
- Identify soft ranges
- Confirm Ranges
- Evaluate and code
These last 3 steps are steps in the scoring process. These should be completed for each dimension before moving onto the next dimension.
