Lesson Plan Template?

Does anyone have (or know where I can find) a lesson plan template with CLASS in mind? I'm thinking of something that may have spaces or prompts for considering different dimensions and indicators. Does such a thing exist?

I don't think this is exactly what you have in mind, but maybe it will help spark something. I created this super quick to help teachers evaluate an activity they completed during the previous week. I had them write down what was said/done in the appropriate boxes in one color, then I had them go back and with a different color write things that could be said/done to expand the activity. Next school year I will have them use this form, or something like it, to prepare at least one activity a week to help get them thinking with the CLASS lens as they prepare.

This blog post and blank printable lesson plan may be helpful for focusing on concept development.  And the amazing @Sherilyn Winkel-Crump is working on a similar post about planning for Quality of Feedback and Language Modeling. I'll be sure we share them here once they are up!

The Best Way to Incorporate More Concept Development in Your Lessons
As you know, CLASS is a tool that captures teacher-student interactions. When it comes to the dimension "Concept Development" the focus is on the method the teacher uses to provide instruction in the classroom. While the interactions are what get measured with CLASS, as a teacher you can plan for Concept Development to be present throughout your lessons.

    Thanks, guys!

I've seen that template before, Liz, but my teacher's didn't find it very helpful for regular planning. I think Tamara's form might work because it is more specific, and includes a space to write in materials (and it editable-- so they can adjust it). Thank you both for sharing!

I have attached a basic planning template that I created when I was coaching preschool teachers on planning intentional lessons that attended to Concept Development.  It's always great to share rather than re-invent!

Thanks for sharing the form.  I could see using that template with Teacher Leaning Communities.

We use Creative Curriculum Studies which has daily resources for use. One of the resources is an Intentional Teaching Card that has information such as your suggesting. What I find really helpful with the form you created is that it will link the two seamlessly.
