I have learned that strong teacher-child interactions build trust and help children develop confidence. I try to engage with children by listening carefully, showing empathy, and using positive language.

I'd love to hear how others encourage meaningful interactions in their classrooms.

Hi, I believe that in order to create meaningful teacher and child interactions, you have to be willing to learn continuously about the child, from your own observations and from the parents and the child's family. Working together with the family will help encourage and build a strong relationship between teacher and child. Teamwork is important in a child's journey.
