After course one was over, I started working on my portfolio thinking I was almost at the finish line, NOW I see a COURSE 2. Can someone please tell me, how many courses we have to do and when will it be over for real before the DP comes to verify our portfolios. Thank you, for your response in advance.

I'm glad you reached out! You enrolled in the 3-course CDA with CLASS program. I see you have completed Course 1: Understanding Early Childhood Development, and your certificate of completion is available on your Teachstone dashboard. Congratulations! You have 2 more courses to go:
Course 2: Health, Safety, and Environment (2/10/25- 4/6/25)

Course 3: Fundamentals of Teaching in Early Childhood (4/7/25 - 6/1/25)

CDA with CLASS is designed to meet the 120 hours required by the Council for Professional Recognition as well as the minimum of 10 hours in each Subject Area. By the time you have successfully completed all three courses in the program, you will have more than met that requirement! You will continue to work on your portfolio throughout your coursework. Once you complete your courses, you will start your application process with the Council. When you receive your "Ready to Schedule" notice from the Council, you can schedule your Verification Visit with the PD Specialist and your exam.
