Hi Brenda,
As a former PD specialist who would perform those visits, I can tell you that it is not like an interview. Your PD specialist will schedule a time with you to review your portfolio, observe you in your classroom working with your students, and then have a reflective discussion with you afterwards. The goal is to help you feel confident in your teaching abilities and give you some coaching or guidance toward future goals, not to judge you! I always really enjoyed meeting the CDA candidates and getting to see them in action. What I'm trying to say is, try to relax and just do your thing on that day....they are there to help!

Subject: CDA people meeting you in person
I was informed by a fellow employee at my workplace that the CDA people come and talk to you in person. I don't do well in interviews. I'm nervous. I am working on certification 8. I started my journey on teachstone May 26th. Is there anything I should I look out for? any advice?
