Hi
@Harriet Hudson,
Thank you so much for reaching out! There is no standard for when scores or feedback are shared after a CLASS Observation, so it varies by program. We had a Teaching with CLASS Podcast episode about CLASS Observations recently, here was what was shared about feedback! You can find this and more in the
episode download.
What happens after a CLASS Observation?
- This depends on the program.
- Sometimes I say thank you and walk away because that's what your organization wants me to do and they plan to use the data from the observation in a different way.
- If I am supposed to coach you, I will likely leave for about 30 minutes to an hour to write up a report, assess your strengths and some areas for improvement, and then we come together to talk about it all and come up with a plan to get more of the strengths.
- There might be a mix of these two where the organization uses the data to drive PD, but also reports out to the QRS.
- you can always ask your administrator what to expect, what will happen with your scores, and how the follow-up will come so you can continue to grow.
- This is all about being a proud professional. In the broader context, it is about your role as a person who is building the future in your classroom.'''
I hope this helps!
Best,
Allison

I was observed in my classroom setting on June 1st. When will my rating scores be shared with me?
