Hi @shelby gordon,
Thanks so much for reaching out here in the community! Often, the term overview training is correlated to the Introduction to CLASS Training. You should have received guidance for how to conduct the training at your Affiliate CLASS Trainer training, as well as all of the necessary materials for the training. You will want to add this training to your training panel on your dashboard as well so you can be sent the physical materials your participants will need. If you have any questions or concerns, I recommend contacting our Customer Support team at contact@teachstone.com!
In regards to tips to conduct the training, I always hear our trainers recommend reviewing your manual in-depth, doing a run-through of the training with the powerpoint, and add some sticky notes to your facilitator guide for any details you want to make sure to remember.
I really hope this helps!
Best,
Allison

Hi Sharon, thank you for responding. I am the Coach for the infant and toddler teachers and am certified in Infant and Toddler CLASS. As far as I know, my Head Start company doesn't have anything regarding overview of infant and toddler CLASS which is why I was put in charge of this. I was curious if there was something already made out there that makes this overview easier and true to TeachStone without having to create my own training.

Good for you regarding getting ahead of the curve. You should check with the Early Head Start funding agency. They should already have in place information, observers and coaches for CLASS. I would suggest that you use their format and possibly have one or two of their staff members to conduct the training for you. If not, obtain their CLASS materials and map out what you want teachers to get from the training. Interactions and communications are key components to be learned by all. Much success to you.

Hi Everyone,
I am going to give an overview training to my Early Head Start teachers on Infant and Toddler CLASS. Is there a format for this? How do I give a general one-day training, with fidelity, on infant and toddler CLASS? Any tips and tricks are helpful. Thank you,
Shelby
