I focus on children recognizing and expressing their feelings in a positive way. Seeing things like 'I know your…' is one way of recognizing their feelings and making them feel valued and respected. Guiding them through simple strategies such as taking a deep breath and using their words. seeing if they can tell me how they feel or of course my favorite giving out hugs usually always work lol. I wanna have a safe quiet place for students who just needs some alone time
children will respond best to constant reassurance , calm, patience and guidance. When we listen to them and validate their feelings. Positive reinforcements, supportive relationships, Consistent routine that's predictable for them, also help children feel secure and better able to cope with challenges.

Happy Spring to All! Many challenges can come up during coaching. How do you address coping? What is it you find others respond to? Looking forward to hearing about what has been successful for others.
