Teaching is no longer what it once was…
A noble profession of building, nurturing, and shaping generations.
It has become a profession that drains the soul before the body.
👦🏻 A child now comes to school not knowing the word "no." Unable to sit quietly for even a minute,
unfamiliar with boundaries, apologies, or respect…
And yet, the teacher is expected to:
Educate, discipline, teach, manage anger outbursts, be gentle, never raise their voice,
and do it all with a fixed smile. 😐
As if the teacher were a machine, tireless, unbreakable, and emotionless.
But teachers are humans after all
They have hearts, limited energy,
and are expected to be a mountain of patience,
a psychologist, a mother, a father, and a social reformer. All while being forbidden to make mistakes!
How many teachers break down in silence…
Some leave the classroom trembling,
some go home in silence to avoid exploding,
and some cry quietly at night, only to wake up with a forced smile in the morning.
Not because they don't love their profession,
but because the pressure has surpassed human limits.
Today, as a Teacher, I'm not asking for gratitude
Asking for understanding that our exhaustion is spiritual before physical, and that our pain is invisible… yet deadly.
And despite it all, we are still standing,
Still loving education ❤️
Still caring for our students,
but we are no longer okay. 💔
Mercy 🙏 upon every Teacher
You are Silent #soldiers ✨
