I would agree; however, it is imperative that the children are taught what they are looking at and the teachers must take responsibility to consistently review the contents of the visuals and praise children for following the "rules". With teachers I coach, I reinforce that just because something is hung in the room, we cannot assume that our students do not need reminders and that they understand the messages on visual supports.

The use of visual in the classrooms are fundamental, classroom rules, posted daily schedules with photos, using prompts during transitions, because when as a educators provide them clear expectations, usually children are able to follow the routines and tent to show less challenging behavior. Also when children had clear expectations they feel more secure and confident in the classroom.
