Congratulations on completing your first year.
Some ideas:
- Ask the children; use your CLASS instructional support skills
-Ask the parents, maybe see if a group would like to help you
-Ask what others have done and what was successful
-A visit to the 4th grade or have some 4th graders visit. Ask the 4th graders what they would have liked to have known at the beginning of last year.
-Create a class book of photos and events the children want to remember
- build a bridge ceremony

Subject: ending the school year?

I am looking for advice. I am new to teaching this year and am wrapping up my first year with a classroom of third graders. I would love advice about how to make the end-of-year transition meaningful and create a sense of closure, while also preparing them for the transition to the next grade.
Thank you for your help
