I had posted this before and somehow it disappeared.  Wanting some guidance in how to recertify once expired. Because of Covid was not sure when or if CLASS would return.  It has been 9 months since my certification expired.  I have signed up through Teachstone and the agency I work with for a two day training.  Would I be able to recertify upon completion of this training? Please advise.

In terms of your recertification, I know we were hosting a recertification amnesty program for observers whose certifications lapsed due to COVID. I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Support team to see if this is still an option for you! Otherwise, if your organization is hosting a CLASS Observer training with Teachstone, you would be able to take that training to recertify. Because I don't know specifically which training Teachstone will be providing, I don't want to say for sure, but the good news is that it sounds like you have some options to explore!

Since you're already registered for the training, I was able to have our Customer Support team check to make sure for you! It does look like you're enrolled in a Pre-K Observation training, so after attending both days, you will have 8 weeks to test to achieve reliability again! Best of luck and I hope you enjoy your training! ​
