All Things CLASS

Hello All,

Our HS program starts back in August, we typically do Fall CLASS observations in Oct/ Nov, my position is that this is too late, I would like to start CLASS observations after 4 weeks of being in session. My question is, when do most HS programs around start their Fall CLASS Observations? I would love to hear from other's Thanks.

I agree; my HS program starts in Oct/Nov as well. I would love to begin the second week in September. Our ED manager has not given us any updates yet. Best of luck this school year!!

We are a Head Start program in Washington State. We typically give them a month with the kids in session, before conducting observations.  That gives them time to do their screenings, get children on a routine, start late enrollees, etc. Our kids start in September, so we try to do observations in Oct/Nov.

Thank you so much for your reply, I am seeing a pattern now and also have gained more knowledge as a CLASS coach.  My rush comes from being a long time Kindergarten teacher, and sometimes forget Head Start is a different program. Thanks again,
