    Hello, my first day is Oct 29th and I have so many questions because I am very confused!

    I know it's an online course, so do I just log in on TeachStone on my first day and my assignments are already there? Do I meant my teacher? 

    For the portfolio is there a certain format? Or any other different documents to use for example, Google Sites? And do you recommend starting the portfolio on your first day? And when would I know that the portfolio is due? 

    I would truly appreciate the help, my manager is out on vacation so I can't ask her my concerns. Thank you!

    Hi there,

    Welcome to the CLASS Learning Community!

    While I am not a CDA course expert, I can provide more information! Your course will open automatically on your account on your set start date, and you will be able to start immediately! You will have a pacing guide and syllabus with much more specific information on your course; the course is self-paced with set start and end dates for each course. As long as you've completed all of our coursework for each course by the end date, you can complete the work on your time! The due dates will be clearly communicated to you when you begin your course. 

    You will have a facilitator for your course, and you will be able to contact them through your course or via email (cdasupport@teachstone.com). In regards to the portfolio, that is an area that I don't know as much about, but I do know you will work on it throughout the course and that it will be clear to you what aspects will be included in your portfolio. In terms of the due date, I am sure that will also be included when you get more information from our CDA team.
