As a school-age teacher, I support family engagement by verbally communicating with each parent. They let me know their child's needs and what they would like them to improve on. I also have a big "parent communications" board where I put all of our current activities and projects that follow our curriculum . Last but not least, I communicate with every parent on a daily basis from our app. Communication is key and parents love to see what their kids are doing, what they're eating and most importantly if they're happy.
