I am not sure if this will help you, but, I also failed the first attempt.  I cried pretty hard. The second time I passed though.  This community is here to help you succeed! Review the videos and try again! You've got this!

    Samantha,

PLEASE don't beat yourself up over this!  Many, many folks on here don't pass the first time, I'd venture to say most!! I have been CLASS reliable for 3 or 4 years now, and I have NEVER passed it the first time (I'm not even sure if I've done it on the second...).  I don't CLASS coach regularly, so it's not easy for me.  It's a great tool, and I'm happy to use it with my family child care providers (I kind of think of it as CLASS-lite), but taking the tests is definitely a struggle.

Oh Samantha, I know your pain-its real. We have all felt it. But as you have probably heard by now, most of us have failed our first attempt. Its almost like a warm up to the second. I re-read the notes I have taken from the support resources and rewatch and recode the practice videos. I am in the midst of recertifying-on my 5th video today. I fully expect to fail first attempt. That's why you allow a lot of time. Its okay. Pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and try again!

Do not fret. I have done the same (more than once). Go over your notes and videos and take it slow. You can also reach out to Teachstone and they can help you with some tips. Good Luck!
