Hi! I am asking for clarification. Is it a necessity before getting a CLASS observation that the staff persons gets Intro to CLASS training?

This is a wonderful question; thank you for asking!! So, it's not necessary to take Intro To CLASS before you do your observation training. Intro To CLASS allows you to learn the basics of the CLASS instrument, domains, and dimensions. It's designed to help participants learn about effective educator-child interactions, as defined by the CLASS tool, and how these interactions help children learn. So, it's great for teachers and anyone interested in understanding why effective interactions are important for student learning and development, and something that other observers end up taking along with the observation training!
