Hi @Rhizlane Messelmi,
This is a great question!
A professional learning community (PLC) is a group of educators who collaborate to improve their teaching practices and create a learning environment where all students can thrive. PLCs usually operate within a school or district and can be organized by grade level, content area, or involve the entire teaching staff.
I would consider, for example, CLASS Group Coaching or Interaction Essentials for Educators as a form of PLC since these groups focus on improving teaching and learning in the classroom. However, I wouldn't classify CLASS observation training the same way, as it's not directly centered on teaching and learning. PLCs also tend to meet regularly, which is why group coaching fits this model, while a one-day CLASS training may not.
Hope this helps clarify! Let us know if you have any further questions!
Best,
