Hello,

The Children's Forum sent us an email that they do not have assessors in our area to assess our Providers. Can anyone point me in the right direction of who we can obtain/hire, to do a few assessments in July, until we can contract with another organization for this service, or obtain a contract with a private assessor.

I passed my CLASS training and I am certified to observe classrooms to code for CLASS. Where are you located at? I am looking to do some CLASS observations outside of my current organization, but I am unsure of the process of how to do this. If you have any information on how to do this and what it would look like, please let me know as I would be happy to help.

Hi Terrie,

I'd love to help! I've been a contract CLASS® observer for over a decade, working with a range of early childhood programs including Head Start and Early Head Start. I also worked as a CLASS® Pre-K coach for a grant program with state preschools in Austin, TX, so I'm comfortable adapting to whatever observation format and requirements your program is working within.

Typically, my observation services include two full observation cycles per classroom, a brief 10-15 minute in-person debrief with each teacher following their observation, individual classroom strengths and recommendations reports, a program-wide trends report, and an in-person or virtual debrief with your leadership team. Sample deliverables are available upon request if you'd like a closer look at what that product looks.
