    Hello everyone- it's been a while! 

    I always revisit this question while observing. The CLASS tool says, "The teacher consistently maps his or her own actions and the students' actions through language and description." 

    If an Educator uses self-talk without parallel talk  can they be rated in the mid or high range depending on frequency and depth?
