Love this resource from Edutopia! Social stories can help teachers create a positive and supportive classroom environment by:
- Modeling appropriate social behaviors
- Providing clear expectations
- Encouraging empathy and understanding
Social stories can be used to teach anything from how to follow directions to how to use scissors safely and help kids understand the "why" behind school and classroom expectations.
Anyone have good examples they use? Or an idea of where this could help?
