VPK homework

    I'm consider for VPK class do homework, is better, because we will prepare for school. What do you think.

    Hello' Yes I think it's a good thing for us to do home work this will help us on our journey. With working with young kids you have to be ready for everything.

    I have been sending home VPK homework for years and the parents seem to embrace it. It gets them ready for Kindergarten. I send it home on Monday and it is due on Friday so parents don't have to worry about it over the weekend. I also do candy or lately I have done light up rings as a reward for completing it. :)

    Hello' Everyone i'm a VPK teacher. I have been sending work home with my students for homework just to work on at home so they can get more practice on the assignment. But the student wanted to bring the paperback for nothing.I think that it's a good thing to send work home to help on the skills where the students are liking.

    Interesting, is this PK, VPK??, what curriculum is this? I see the worksheets are from various sources: Turtlesdiary.com, www.toddler-net.com, Education.com, etc. Which standards are addressed in these assignments? Thanks!

    Im VPK lead teacher and vpk director and daycare Director for 10 yrs
    the curriculum  is BIG DAY 2016 FOR ME IS GREAT. 
    use too tpt for  many activities.

    I do the assesment first and where the children are lacking is how I determine what homework to send home to have the parents work with me as partners and help the child where they are not skilled in yet. It helps immensely and the parents enjoy seeing what the children are learning and helping them.
