Hi everyone! I’m currently working on an initiative project focused on analyzing data and storytelling in Head Start. As part of this effort, I’ve developed several case studies (links below) that will eventually be compiled into a comprehensive manual, and can be for use to anyone who looks at data at the agency.

1)   Turning Data into Stories: Analyzing Attendance in Head Start with R

2)   From Data to Action: Analyzing Health Incidents in Head Start Program with R

3)   Data-Driven Decisions: Utilizing Regression Analysis for Head Start Program Improvement

4)   Head Start Case: Exploring the Connection Between Family Income and Outcome Results

In addition to these resources, I want to include a section highlighting how Head Start agencies use data in practice. By sharing real experiences, we can better illustrate the critical role data plays in driving meaningful outcomes in Head Start programs.

To make this possible, I’ve created a 15-question survey designed to gather insights from Head Start staff. Your input can make a significant impact on understanding the use of data and shaping the future of these discussions.
