Hi @Lorene Cahall,

How exciting! Here are some tips:
  • I highly suggest listening to our "What to expect when you're about to be observed" podcast episode! It helps to hear directly from an observer what will happen and how it will impact your classroom.
  • I also created these resources based on that episode - one is a quick reference, and the other has more detailed notes (this is the podcast discussion for this episode, the resource is at the bottom).
  • It's a great idea to prepare the kids by sharing that you might have a visitor soon, that they will just be in the classroom but won't be there to play, and remind them until your observer arrives.
  • Overall, just do what you would do any other day! CLASS is one of those things that you're already doing, but you'll gain a new common language to identify the things you do that are making a difference for your students.

I hope this helps!

Best,
Allison
