Hi
@Danielle Gismondi,
I found written in a field guide the recommendation that a teacher who has been with the students for fewer than 30 days should not be observed so the teacher can get to know the students, settle in, and establish routines. I have seen that
the OHS Monitoring observation protocol specifies that a lead teacher has to be in the classroom for at least 10 days before the monitoring visit for the observation to occur. I hope this helps!
Best,
Allison
