 Observation Data

I have been looking for some observation data regarding CLASS. I was unable to locate anybody who knows if it is available through the chat. I did send an email to the general CLASS mailbox this morning, and now I am trying it here. Can anybody help me by answering the questions below, or referring me to the correct place to ask?

  1. Is there national data on the averages of each dimension score? We received domain averages at our training, and I would like more detailed information. I found a link to an article on the community site, but it has data for only about four dozen observations.
  2. Has the data been normed at the percentile level, and can we get access to percentile data, or to a bell curve that would give us percentile ranges?
  3. Is there data collected on each individual evaluator? Do we already have access to that?
  4. Do we have access to previous years, so we can show the teacher areas of improvement over time?
  5. Can we get access to the data from our certification test? I was hoping for a total on how many items I scored exact, as opposed to how many were correct by virtue of the one more / one less rule.

Hello Dr. Ryil,

One source of national averages is Head Start CLASS scores (Pre-K only).  This dataset does include dimension averages, but unfortunately, with the pandemic, the latest data is a bit old and was released in 2020. As for access to your data with your certification test, I am attaching a screenshot for your reference. You can see your results by clicking your Certification tile and clicking Report 1 under your recent test. It will give you a break down that you can use. I hope that helps!
