Thank you for reaching out! I know that the ELC in Florida has regulations for observations, but I am not familiar with exactly what they will do. Teachstone doesn't intend for the CLASS tool ever to be used in a punitive way. I would encourage you to reach out to your coalition to learn more about what you can expect if you don't pass, but since this is not something that Teachstone manages, I am unfamiliar with what they would do. I also encourage you to try not to worry about the CLASS observation. Just do what you usually would in the classroom, focus on your interactions with your students, and facilitate their learning and development; the rest should follow.
